Planning Out My Library.

For my retirement.

What can I say?

I’m a planner.

The word of the day is: Canoe.

[ kuh-noo ]
noun
any of various slender, open boats, tapering to a point at both ends, propelled by paddles or sometimes sails and traditionally formed of light framework covered with bark, skins, or canvas, or formed from a dug-out or burned-out log or logs, and now usually made of aluminum, fiberglass, etc.
any of various small, primitive light boats.
verb (used without object), ca·noed, ca·noe·ing.
to paddle a canoe.
to go in a canoe.
verb (used with object), ca·noed, ca·noe·ing.
to transport or carry by canoe.

I had planned on taking the photo in a canoe.

Not in water, mind you.

Preferably in someone’s house or yard.

Possibly in a sporting goods store.

But instead I ended up making an origami canoe and putting Jitterbug’s baby Jeezus for this year’s King Cake in it.

Also, now it’s a little man in a boat.

Because vagina.

Instead of spending my day clearing the driveway of the last of the snow before it melts, we spent the day sledding down it.

Which was a way better way to spend the day.

Today it’s back to work we go.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
