The word of the day is: Daddy.
|[ dad-ee ]|
noun, plural dad·dies.
Informal. a diminutive of dad1.
Slang. sugar daddy.
Slang. an affectionate or familiar term of address to a boyfriend or male romantic partner, especially if he is older.
verb (used with object), dad·died, dad·dy·ing.
Chiefly Appalachian. to father or sire.
Yesterday was a very long day.
There was so much going on that I kept forgetting all the stuff I was supposed to be doing.
So by the end of the day my brain was little better than watered-down boba tea.
And not even a good flavor like taro.
More like diet coke and mayo backwash with a twist of lemonade.
It wasn’t pretty.
So don’t be surprised by this post’s lack of literary genius.
If you’re reading this you are probably not expecting much from me anyway.
Speaking of which, happy Sandwich Control anniversary!
Yesterday’s sandwich was a Chip Butty.
It was brought to us by HayHay.
It consists of buttered white bread, French fries, and ketchup.
After trying it, I made a leftover chicken sandwich and had fries on the side.
It was good, but it’s not something I’d ever make for myself.
Because there are way better options.
I mean, if I just happened to show up at your house on Chip Butty night and you offered me one, I’d eat the shit out of it.
But I’m not going to dirty my whole kitchen up for a French fry sandwich.
Not any time soon, that is.
Today is Friday.
I don’t have a shitlaod of stuff on the books.
Hopefully I can catch up on all the stuff that I forgot to do yesterday.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
