And not doing a very good job of it.

The word of the day is: Delusion.

[ dih-loo-zhuhn ]
noun
an act or instance of deluding.
the state of being deluded.
a false belief or opinion:
delusions of grandeur.
Psychiatry. a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact:
a paranoid delusion.

I finished “Airships” yesterday.

And started “The God Delusion” by Richard Dawkins.

As you can see.

I probably would’ve finished “The New World” but I worked in the yard after I got off work.

The more jungle we clear, the bigger the yard gets.

And that means more yard to maintain.

If you haven’t noticed, it’s spring.

The grass has noticed.

And it’s growing like crazy.

So I mowed some of it.

And cut down more jungle with Lord Steel Bear.

It’s supposed to rain a bunch and I figured I should get some work done beforehand.

Cod knows I’ll be struggling to keep up with it all once the rain works its magic.

Yesterday, aside from the yard work, was another really productive day.

I got my hives set up at the office.

I wanted to get it done early enough to troubleshoot any problem that may arise.

You know, before they are filled with bees.

I also ran a fuckload of errands.

Today is going to be a busy one.

In addition to normal Thursday stuff, Jitterbug and I are getting our first round of COVID vaccinations.

Hopefully we get the Johnson & Johnson shot and won’t have to go back for a second dose, but I’m not holding my breath.

Also, I’m supposed to be getting my new work phone today.

So that’ll be a whole other ordeal I’ll get to sort out.

All the backing up and setting up.

The IT department has already told me they’d be on standby.

Apparently other new phones that have come in recently have taken a giant shit and needed a lot of tech support to get them working properly.

So I have that to look forward to.

But for now, I’m just focusing on my lack of coffee in my cup.

And how to remedy it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
