You get a COVID shot and a bag of Cheetos.

We call it a “snacks-ination”.

Right?!

The word of the day is: Honey.

[ huhn-ee ]

a sweet, viscid fluid produced by bees from the nectar collected from flowers, and stored in nests or hives as food.
this substance as used in cooking or as a spread or sweetener.
adjective
of, like, or pertaining to honey; sweet.
containing honey or flavored or sweetened with honey.
verb (used with object), hon·eyed or hon·ied, hon·ey·ing.
Informal. to talk flatteringly or endearingly to (often followed by up).
to sweeten or flavor with or as if with honey.

Yesterday was a blur of errands and headache.

Oh, and lots of things that I had been expecting to arrive ages ago showed up yesterday.

I got treasures from Sober Rabbit that were mailed out on the 11th and that have been all over the fucking country on their way here.

Twice.

I got the ten dogwoods that I ordered back in March that were supposedly shipped out on April 5th.

So I got to plant all those as well.

And my birthday present from the Blacksmith arrived and is even better in person than it was on the innernet.

The headache that hung out all day was the down side to all the good stuff that happened.

It felt like a quart-size mason jar (regular mouth) was entering the front of my head through my right eyeball and going straight through until it came out the back of my head pinching my right trapezius on the way out.

Just giving it a little goose right on it’s keister.

After work I made myself a much needed cheeseburger and planted the dogwoods.

Then I melted into a heap of headache and ibuprofen.

Today is Thursday.

And everything is all messed up again.

I’m hoping to fill the voids with good things and not dumb shit.

Wish me luck.

And coffee.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
