Wearing a Stack of Hats.

Every single day.
The word of the day is: Guttersnipe.
[ guht-er-snahyp ] noun a person belonging to or characteristic of the lowest social group in a city. a street urchin. |
Hobo rich ’til I die, bitch.
Found hat, black jacket, red & blue plaid waistcoat, gold striped tie, white shirt with teensy polka dots, grey slacks, house shoes, in my dead great aunt Goldie’s wheelchair.
I looked everywhere for Taco Planet’s original “cain’t work” sign, but I couldn’t find it.
So I made a new one.
With the backdrop of 30 cubic yards of what was once one man’s treasure and is now my trash.
This captured about five minutes of my day.
It was only one of the many, many hats I wore yesterday.
I was a tree trimmer, a plumber, a garbageman, a hunter/gatherer, a dog chauffeur, a book dealer, a map maker, a chef, a dishwasher, a dad, a husband, and a very, very tired boy.
And that was my easy day of the week.
Today I’m expecting more rain and even more chaos.
See ya’ tomorrow.
More soon. ~SC
