That’s why she keeps getting out of the yard.

Not to explore.

But to evangelize.

This is Jitterbug’s new hypothesis as to why all dogs love me.

GooGoo has been spreading the good news to the dogs of the world on her little trips outside the backyard.

The word of the day is: Glitz.

[ glits ]Slang. noun ostentatious glitter or sophistication: a cocktail lounge noted for its glitz. verb (used with object) to add a showy sophistication to (often followed by up): They glitzed up the lobby with a couple of fountains and a birdcage.

Weirdly enough, that’s the only thing of glitter we could find in the house.

Probably because the kids have put it on everything they’ve crafted recently.

Yesterday after making brunch, and then eating brunch, I took a nap.

It.

Was.

Awesome.

I wasn’t grumpy all day.

It’s crazy what some rest will do for your brain.

I spent the rest of the day just puttering around on little stuff.

I never really exerted myself too much.

It was a nice respite.

Now it’s Monday.

And time to get back to the grind.
