But expecting a corn fritter.

The word of the day is: Pirate.

What you can’t see in this photo is the external hard drive I have filled with movies and music.

Not all heroes wear capes.

And not all pirates can find their eyepatch in the ridiculous amount of costume stuff they have in their closet.

Favorite pirate?

Hmm…

I’d say it’s a close tie between Bob Hoskins’s Smee in “Hook” and Robert De Niro’s Captain Shakespeare in “Stardust”.

What about you? Who is your favorite?

Yesterday was a house work day.

I helped Nicky the Cook load up a shitload of bricks that were pile around my yard.

I repotted my snake plant.

If you know what I mean.

Then I mowed my yard.

And that pretty much exhausted all of my being outside credits.

So, while Jitterbug went off to her class reunion, me and the kids ate a shitload of frozen appetizers.

Cheese sticks, pot pie bites, chicken tenders, bagel dots, and chicken taquitos.

So brown.

So fried.

So good.

Until it all comes spraying out of the other end of me tomorrow.

And that was my Saturday.

Today is a rest day.

Which means I’ll probably end up doing a lot of manual labor.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
