Imagine if you put a dot on map at locations that you went to.
Label one “Grocery Store”.
And label one “the fucking boonies”.
Now drive back and forth between them a million times.
That was my day yesterday.
It was a day that went very, very slowly.
Until it went full fucking speed ahead with no warning whatsoever.
I was swamped the entire time, mind you.
The rate at which I did things did not change.
Just the perception of time changed.
When the day was almost over and I still had a million things to do I just wished it would slow down a little before I face-planted into staying up past my bedtime.
This morning’s workout is full-body HIIT.
And then I’m going to spatula myself off the floor and go have coffee with the Blacksmith.
After that I’m going to sit quietly at my desk, making no noise, and pretending I don’t exist.
