Concerning me and my bisexual, totally not related to me doppelganger.

The word of the day is: Sorcery.

Sorcery
[ sawr-suh-ree ]
noun, plural sor·cer·ies.
the art, practices, or spells of a person who is supposed to exercise supernatural powers through the aid of evil spirits; black magic; witchery.

Yes, those are my Staves of Ra.

No, I haven’t used them yet.

I did a lot of shuffling yesterday.

I moved stuff around pretty much all day.

I moved tables.

I moved people.

I moved dogs.

I moved boxes of tissues (with lotion).

I moved cars.

I moved paperwork.

I just moved a lot of stuff.

That was after I clocked 3.25 miles on my run.

I averaged 9:22 a mile.

And I was doing 30 second run then 30 second walk intervals.

The 30 second runs were really fucking fast if I kept my pace at 9:22 a mile.

My walk speed is around 18 minutes a mile.

I thought about running the calculations, but it’s too early and it made my brain hurt.

It was just fast.

I really pushed myself.

And it was a good run.

It’s nice to feel that way.

Like you pushed your body to do something that you don’t know if you can do and then your body is like “I gotchoo.” and does it like a champ.

It’s nice to feel something other than your normal queasy, cheap, instant mashed potatoes in a dirty gym sock sensation that lingers around you most of the time.

I was in a pretty grubby place last week.

Just pissed off and frustrated by it.

I finally had to remind myself that I am but a stone in the stream.

After that I was much more comfortable with everything turning into shit sandwiches.

There are things that I cannot control.

And sometimes they turn out amazing.

And sometimes they turn into shit sandwiches.

And sometimes you can’t tell which is which until you’ve taken a big ol’ bite.

So it goes.

Today is a day of looking for things.

And maybe I’ll even find them.

But I must be content with whichever way it goes.

Also, I need some fucking cookies.

There have not been enough of those this week.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
