The Purple Nurple.

On the Skerple Highway.

I didn’t make a post yesterday.

I meant to.

But then Photoshop was giving me a lot of grief.

I stayed up way later than I had intended trying to fix it.

I finally gave up on it and went to sleep.

But then I tackled it first thing yesterday.

I think it’s all sorted out now.

Yesterday’s word of the day was: Shindig.

Shindig
[ shin-dig ]
noun Informal.
an elaborate or large dance, party, or other celebration.

That’s me having an alone party in my bathroom.

Sometimes I just hide in the bathroom if I’m over peopled.

I don’t normally wear the party hat, though.

The word of the day today is: Shrill.

Shrill
[ shril ]
adjective, shrill·er, shrill·est.
high-pitched and piercing in sound quality:
a shrill cry.
producing such a sound.
full of or characterized by such a sound:
shrill music.
betraying some strong emotion or attitude in an exaggerated amount, as antagonism or defensiveness.
verb (used with or without object)
to cry shrilly.
noun
a shrill sound.

That’s me running my fingernails down my great great grandfather’s slate tablet that he used in school.

Probably K-8 before they shipped him off to the fields or the factory.

Apparently it’s think about you ancestors month.

Maybe that’s what today’s mystery holiday is.

I’m having a weird thing happen in my brain.

So I have a bunch things going on this week.

And all of them are after today.

But when I was setting them up everything kept being worded as something like “any time after Tuesday” or “I’m free beginning Tuesday morning and on”.

It was phrased in such a way that made me question what the fuck was happening on Monday?

Perhaps that’s just me over thinking things as usual.

Or is it?

bum bum buhhh

Maybe my dad was executed by Tom Cruise.

How the fuck should I know?

It’s Monday.

And I’m ready to go camping now.

Not really.

But my brain is.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
