Astro-do or Astro-donaut.

There is no astro-try.

What a strange holiday weekend.

Yesterday’s word of the day was: Trumpery.

[ truhm-puh-ree ]
noun, plural trump·er·ies.
something without use or value; rubbish; trash; worthless stuff.
nonsense; twaddle:
His usual conversation is pure trumpery.
Archaic. worthless finery.
of little or no value; trifling, worthless; rubbishy; trashy.

Today’s word of the day is: Turbulent.

[ tur-byuh-luhnt ]
being in a state of agitation or tumult; disturbed:
turbulent feelings or emotions.
characterized by, or showing disturbance, disorder, etc.:
the turbulent years.
given to acts of violence and aggression:
the turbulent young soldiers.

Are you as impressed that I was able to fold my old man body into something compact enough to fit in a laundry basket as I was?

Still got it.

(Puts sunglasses on and struts away.)

The good news is that I was able to eat roughly 3/4s of that pecan pie that Beatle Sue made.

The bad news I ate the last of it last night.

All gone.

I’m like a sailor being shipped out for a year of service.

Can I stay faithful to my one true pie until it returns next Thanksgiving?

Or will I fall victim to my animal desires in the brothels of store bought pecan pies?

It really depends on how many cookies I can stockpile in the spank bank of my sweet tooth, I suppose.

Enough jamming my dick into the metaphor train of simile town.

It’s time for me to go to work.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
