Do You Feel Good?

I feel good.

Yesterday was hectic. To say the least.

It was a rough morning. We only were able to workout a few days last week, so getting back to the routine was tough. It felt pretty good, though. Wanna know how many squats I did yesterday? ALL OF THEM.

And then there was work. I ran errands all day. I finally got home in time to eat a sandwich with Teacher Sis as she was leaving yoga. Then I took a shower and sat down someplace other than my truck.

It was the first time that I had enough time to relax, but not enough time for too much relaxation, in a while. Too much time is called sleep. Which I don’t get nearly enough of, but that’s a different story. I decided to listen to that new (to me) copy of “A Night at the Opera” that I picked up the other day. Damn. That is such a good album. Even at 1/3 rpm too slow. (I’m working on that particular issue.)

Starting out an album with “Death on Two Legs” is pretty brilliant. Sets the mood for the rest of the album.

And the “Live Killers” version of “Death on Two Legs” is epic.

Haven’t heard it? Here, experience it for yourself:

Right? The rest of that album is pretty amazing as well. I’d go so far as to say my it’s favorite live album. It usurped “Severe Tire Damage” by They Might Be Giants, which is an amazing album. It sounds as though it were recorded in a studio. A studio with an audience in it.

Anyway, listening to the new record was a great end to a productive day.

Today is Day Two of Productive Week. I start out today with a workout and quickly follow it with a doctor’s appointment. Don’t worry. It’s just a check up. I think I am going to have my doc give me an allergy screening, though. Just for good measure.

After that, if I don’t have to immediately go to work, I’ll replenish my pantry. And, Batman willing, have a little time to spend in my studio.

I should probably stop typing and get to it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
