I Was Going To Accomplish Tasks.

But then my keys fell down a pan-dimensional grate in a Cosco parking lot and I spent the next several millennia trying to recover them with a couple of old shoestrings and a bent paper clip from an early draft of my manifesto.

Happy Palm Sunday. Today, somewhat appropriately, marks the beginning of Holy Week. This means something to you Catholics out there. It means pretty much fuck-all to everyone else.

Either way, go ride a donkey today.

A quick update on Back Alley Troy. He made it through surgery. The upgrade was installed satisfactorily. He is in a bit of pain, but otherwise functioning normally. As in like a normal person. Not normal for him. More as I learn it.

I’m going to keep this brief because I have loads to do today. Mostly moving furniture around.

Yesterday was a good day. I had lunch with Word to Me. Chicken Alfredo.

I did my taxes. I’m getting a return. It’s not enough to pay for my trip to New Orleans that I was hoping to make, and it won’t be here in time for it anyway, but at least I don’t have to pay $1200 like the last few years.

I had nachos for dinner.

We played a riveting game of Munchkin last night. Clipkid won.

I came home to a house wrapped in toilet paper, streamers, and plastic wrap. The inside of the house.

You recall the Magnum Opus, right? A giant mess of tangled things, just waiting to be untangled and rolled into a ball.

Right…

So, I untangled all of the yellow streamers first. And rolled it into a ball. It became a yolk. Next was the toilet paper. It is the white of the egg. Next the stretch wrap served as the shell of my crazy egg.

I made this for you…

the egg

The salt shaker is for scale.

And this is why we don’t celebrate birthdays on Holliday Island. Because people think that this is a good idea. They have now provided me with a large projectile. Guess it’s finally time to build that trebuchet…

I’ve got to get over to Lippincottonia. Things need moving around. More on that soon.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

More soon. ~SC

  1. Geoffrey says:

How big is the salt shaker?

  2. Regular size? It is approximately 9.5cm x 3.7cm x 3.7cm.
