The Elusive First Line of Every Song.

But you gotta hold on.

Or come on up to the house.

Yesterday was exhausting. And it consisted mostly of filling up the rest of my month. I swear I added something close to 30 things to my calendar and/or list throughout the course of the day.

It was dumb.

Why?

Because those will be things that I am doing instead of printing in my studio. Especially now that I’ve got all my ornaments sorted and proofed. Of course, I won’t have time to do anything with them.

The universe mocks me.

Speaking of mocking people, last night was family dinner at Lippincottonia. Last night’s theme started out as scarves and slowly digressed into Hawaiian shirts as well…

The Lippincottonian Hawaiian Vacation.

The Lippincottonian Hawaiian Vacation.

We are silly people.

Today, since I have a 5k coming up in like three weeks, I am going to go run. It’s my new workout schedule. The Forge has changed morning workouts to Monday-Wednesday-Friday, so the Blacksmith and I are going to run Tuesday-Thursday. At least until this stupid 5k is over.

Probably forever. Because we are creatures of habit. Sigh.

I would like to point out that, aside from the sprints and line drills that I do as part of my workouts, I haven’t ran in a long time. Especially for distance. And by long time, I mean like Presidential Physical Fitness test in 8th grade. 2 decades ago.

This is going to be awesome! My goal is to make it one lap around the track. Which is apparently about a mile and a half.

Batman give me strength.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
