Before I say anything else, let me just say congratulations to the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team for their victory against Japan in the World Cup final last night. (5-2)

Speaking of America, the Fourth of July was pretty fun. Mostly we sat around sweating and ate too much. I took a handful of photos. You can see them here.

Yesterday, before and after I watched the World Cup final, I did all the housework. All of it. Laundry, groceries, bill paying, trash, all of it. The works. I even ran the dishwasher.

Today is Monday. The workouts resume. I’ve got to work off some of those hotdogs and Funyuns™.

I also get to deal with the IRS and the Department of Finance and Administration of the State of Arkansas this week. And possibly the electric company. But before then, I get to go to the university and sit in a meeting where we talk about moving things.

Yes, it’s already looking like another week of fun for me.

I’d better get to it.
