Yesterday I was in a bad way. A week of stress and inner turmoil culminated in me using my Staples rewards check to buy an amazing mechanical pencil.

I found an artsy photo of it because it is a work of art.

The lead rotates as you write so it stays sharp. And the lead is made of dreams and diamonds and breaks less that whatever shitty pencil you’re using currently. Plus the action on the push button to advance the lead is something out of science fiction.

Today is the beginning of the Unexpected Arts Festival. Technically it started last night at the Printology event at UAFS, but whatever. It has begun. Officially. Now I am going to go be busy.
