Sometimes You Just Need a Power-Up.

And sometimes that power-up comes from accidentally dressing like Mario.

Acid washed jeans for days.

Wait. Who did you think I was talking about?

Despite my normal Monday work load, I attempted to rest yesterday. And I met up with Jitterbug for an emergency massage.

There are two things that I’m not good at. Okay there’s a lot more than two things. Shuddup.

There are two things that I’m exceptionally not good at: being sick and being injured. Both of which to the point of interfering with normal daily function, that is.

I’m shit at it. Them. Whatever.

So, it has been a lesson in patience the past nigh on a week of having to take it easy and rest. Which I’m not very good at, so hence it taking so fucking long for my back to heal.

Grrrr…

So, I am going to attempt another day of resting. My plan is to spend as much time either in bed or on the couch as I can. I’m going to attempt to finish this short book I am reading before another short book, suggested by my team of shrinks, arrives later today. Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to read it as well.

My goal is to be well enough to go to workout on Wednesday morning. Because not being able to workout is doing a number on my psyche. Which is the last fucking thing I need.

I’d also like to be able to go to my studio and print something. Or at least put paper in the fucking flat file that did this to my back. That’d show it.

Okay, that’s going to be the last I say about my stupid back. Whether it gets its shit together and starts acting right or not.

Given that I’ve had a whole heaping lot of time on my hands, I’ve had a few ideas for new postcards and posters that I am itching to print. I’m also getting antsy to have my new woodtype. There’s a list of things that I’m ready to print with it.

Okay, I’m going to rest.

For real this time. It’s a perfectly rainy day for it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC

Congratulations! You’re well on your way to becoming a grumpy old man, just a cussin’ and a spittin’ about your aches and pains. Scratch that. Grumpier and older. 😉 Trust me. I already know.
