Smoked out always.

Today’s song is “Hootie Hoo” by Outkast. It is being brought to you today by Taco Planet.

Yesterday was a pretty relaxed day. Well, as far as Thursday’s go anyway.

I spent a lot of time at the studio. Mostly tidying up. I also began transferring the last six cases of type into the refinished cases.

I then spent a good chunk of the remainder of the day working on the 8, count them 8, Daily Photos. I felt that one photo just couldn’t capture “A Day In the Life” properly. So, I shot the breakdown…

"Woke up. Fell out of bed."

“Woke up. Fell out of bed.”

"Dragged a comb across my head."

“Dragged a comb across my head.”

"Found my way downstairs and drank a cup."

“Found my way downstairs and drank a cup.”

"And looking up, I noticed I was late."

“And looking up, I noticed I was late.”

"Found my coat and grabbed my hat."

“Found my coat and grabbed my hat.”

"Made the bus in seconds flat."

“Made the bus in seconds flat.”

"Found my way upstairs and had a smoke."

“Found my way upstairs and had a smoke.”

"Somebody spoke and I went into a dream."

“Somebody spoke and I went into a dream.”

It was a lot of fun.

A big thank you to Dave for making the newspaper at the last minute, to Taco Planet for loaning me the cigarette, to Back Alley Troy for pretending to talk to me and for spotting the camera for me, to Jesus for giving me a bag of Reese’s footballs, to John, Paul, George, and Ringo for being brilliant, and to Jitterbug for giving me the song. Oh, and a little shout out to my dad and my mom for bringing me into this world and so on.

I’m so tired of itching. I’m over it.

Know what I’m not over?

Watching this…

I’ve been watching it on a loop. It’s gonna be amazing. It’s like all of my favorite things combined into one thing. I’m totally eating nachos while I watch it.

Today is Friday.

I’ve got stuff to do.

I should probably go do it.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More son. ~SC
