What Are Those Guys Supposed To Be?

Dark Elves? They look like regular Elves. I don’t think the director knew what Drow look like.

I’d like to start off today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Curly Bill. Be sure to wish him one as well.

Also, Happy Batman Day! Go get me free Batman loot since I’ll be at work and can’t get it myself.

Back to the dark Elf business. InĀ Thor: the Dark World they claimed to be dark Elves, aka, Drow. Drow don’t look like even more emo regular Elves. I can only suspend my disbelief so far, people. They should have watched more “Community”. Chang knows what’s up with the Drow.

If watching sit-coms was too much to ask, they could have, oh, I don’t know, read a friggin’ comic book. I mean, it is a comic book movie after all.

sigh.

Yesterday, Lord Steel Bear and Bubba Fett wrecked the ever-loving-shit out of my kitchen. That soft spot on the floor was a bit more problematic than we first expected. We are hoping they get it finished today while I’m at work. The cats do not take kindly to being locked away all day. Actually, they didn’t really care. They were shut in my bedroom with a litter box, food, and water. They did what they normally do all day: sleep on my pillow.

So, yesterday I got another surprise day off. I find that I work harder on those days. I spent the day cleaning out and organizing the garage. I also repaired the brakes on my trike and hosed her off at the car wash. All clean and shiny, I had to ride her over to the Rev. Dark Wombat’s for dinner. I forgot how nice it is to just ride around. I need to do that more often.

As for today, I don’t think day off lightning is going to strike twice this week. There is really no telling what I’ll get up to today. I’d better go find out.

See ya’ tomorrow.

More soon. ~SC
