I’d like to begin this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to the Heat. Be sure to wish her one as well.

It’s also Tom Waits’ 70th birthday.

In honor of both of these wonderful people I’d like to celebrate Cotton Candy Day!

Yesterday was a whirlwind of work and coffee and clients.

I rounded the night out by myself, in my chair, wearing sweatpants, and reading comicbooks.

It. Was. Awesome.

The kiddos camped out at their grandparents’ house.

Jitterbug went to dinner with another Girl Scout troop leader.

And Mr. Boobodie was at his swim meet.

I had the whole house to myself.

Everybody got a night off from each other.

Which is rare, but we all needed it after the long drive for Thanksgiving week.

Today is a full day.

We are helping get Beatle Sue’s Grismas decoration wrangled this morning.

Then I have clients.

Then basketball games.

Then clients.

Then food.

Then clients.

Then sleep.

Tomorrow I have clients in the morning, but nothing but working in the backyard after that.
