Morning Time, and the Living is Sleepy.

Good morning. It is Friday and that means my new article is up on the City Wire. If you would like to read it, click here: Spelling Error Express. If you don’t want to read it, click here: Parts in Jars.
Yesterday was relatively uneventful. We did a few final touches on the booth. We ate a Cajun place in the market that had red aprons that read “Who’s Your Crawdaddy?” with a picture of a crawfish in a chef’ hat. Brilliant. I wandered around the market for a while determined to find the kitchen gadget shop I remembered from the last time I was here. I found it and roamed around in there, Hellbent on buying myself a toy, until I found the thing I was looking for, I just didn’t know what it was when I set out to look for it. Wanna see what I got? Okay:
That’s right. I got Matryoshka Measuring Dolls. I’ve been wanting them for a while and when I saw them, I had to get them.
At some point, the rest of our crew convinced me to make the reservations for dinner both last night and tonight, so I came back to the hotel and used my handy innernet to do so. Dinner was great last night, but tonight we go to the Rose Tattoo for jambalaya. Mwhahahaha…..
I don’t know he did it, but somehow, Dave convinced me that I owed him a t-shirt. Stupid Jedi mind trick. Anyway, I picked that up for him, I guess. And no, I’m not buying any of you anything. The whole time I was buying the shirt, I kept asking myself “Why am I buying Dave a shirt?” I still really don’t understand. What I do understand is that showtime is drawing near and I have yet to put any coffee into me. I need to go do that. Have a great day. More soon. ~SC
