It Dangerous To Go Alone! Click here.
So, thanks to Pancake Land, I remembered what today is. It would have been like forgetting my own birthday, wedding, college graduation, and anniversary.
“Now, I have the feeling that I’m forgetting something…”
Anyway, guess what today is. Go on guess. It’s it 25th Anniversary of the Legend of Zelda. It was on this day, in 1986, that Zelda was released in Japan. It kind of feels like it is my birthday. I think cupcakes are in order.
So today’s post is going to be a pretty photo-heavy one. I remembered to take photos of my Amy Sedaris autographs for you.
I also got some photos of Little Miss Cotton’s scoot scoot the Yellow Sub. If you see it around, let me know. Just remember, it is yellow and tons of little things glued and stuck all over it. The photos don’t do LMC’s “improvements” justice.
I also took a sweet photo at Abyssynia, a local Ethiopian restaurant, last night. I looked up and saw this in all off it’s crusty glory.
Okay then. I have successfully just made a very long post, by saying nothing at all. Nice. For all of you iPad and letterpress nerds out there, they are in the process of combining the two. That’s right. They are making an application for iPad in which you can set type and proof it and then a company in Illinois will actually print it for you. It is not as sacrilegious as it sounds. I think I have a video. Yes! We’ve! Got! A! Video! Unfortunately, I can’t put it on here. But you can go there and watch it: Letterpress, there’s an app for that. The project itself seems to have its heart in the right place as far as conservation of the craft goes, so if you’re into this sort of thing, you should a couple of bucks their way for the cause.
Anyways, today is the last day of the show and I haven’t had my coffee, yet. So, on that note, I’m off. More soon. ~SC
