Happy Ides of March everybody! That means that it is Krahli’s birthday. Be sure to wish him a happy one today.

Yesterday, I made my first ever pot roast and decided to blow off doing the things I was supposed to and watched Inception with Pancake Land instead. The pot roast rocked. Inception is going to take me a while to wrap my head around, though. It is one of those movies where you really enjoyed watching it, but know that you’ll never sit through it again.

What did I blow off in order to watch a movie with my lady? I blew off writing my new article for the City Wire, for starters. I also blew off working on my “See no evil” monkey for my Letterpress class. Sure, I’ve got even more to get done tonight, but me and my lady seem to passing each other like ships in the night these days. Between job work and school work if I’m not locked away in someone else’s office, then I’m locked away in mine. And then there’s the weekends. For the past couple of them, the two of us have been taking turns traveling. As soon as one of us gets home, we have enough to get a hug and a kiss in and then the other one leaves. So, it felt only right to blow off my duties and get some much needed couch time with my lady. Tonight, though, it’s back to work. If I really work hard, I might get some HP in before bedtime.

So, I saw this yesterday and thought it was both brilliant and appropriate. It was entitled “In Case of Fire”. Enjoy:
