Spring Cleaning.

Hello all. It is that time of year again. The time in which we muck out all of those nooks and crannies and rid ourselves of all of those items which we “needed” over the past year. It is the time of year where we realize that we didn’t need those things and that all they are doing is providing a surface for dust to settle on. Yes, it is Spring Cleaning time. The windows of Holliday Island have been opened up to let the cool Spring air in and the layers of hidden dust are being scraped off of everything. In celebration of this joyous event, I’ve been rearranging my kitchen. The long put-off task of re-bottling all of my spices has begun. The pass-through window has been cleared off and the desire to purchase a hanging veggie basket is upon me once again.

But, unfortunately, we are friggin’ broke. Pancake Land is waiting for an order of supplies so that she has something to sell and I am in limbo until the IRS takes my taxes out of my account. I have to wait and see if they take the full, original amount out or if they will take the new, adjusted amount. Until then, I am stuck. Of course, when it rains, it pours on Holliday Island and so, naturally, the heating element on the dryer is not working and we can’t pay to get it fixed. I need to call Le Duke and have him come look at it. But don’t worry, friends. It will all be fine. How do I know? Well, because I saw this road sign and it told me that things will work out.

See? Everything is going to be fine.

In other news, Dave and Little Miss Cotton survived their trip to the Baptist Vegas this past weekend and when Dave came over to steal some treats from my cookie tub, I trapped him in ice. Behold:

Unfortunately, we let at least four people slip through our fingers as far as getting face scans in the past week. Let it be known that the following people have been marked and they have a bounty on their head:

Ari Bari

Steel Bear

Prop Ninja and Malfoy

Taco Planet

It is not solely our responsibility for making sure that you follow the decrees set out by the High Inquisitor. It is also your responsibility. You have been warned.

So, today I will be working in the Letterpress shop all day. This is excellent because it allowed me to sleep in a little and get some work done around here before heading in. It also allows me to come home a little earlier than normal to continue getting stuff done. If I’m lucky, I’ll get enough done this morning so that I can get a little of The Half-Blood Prince in tonight. So, wish me luck. I’m off to get the show on the road. More soon. ~SC

I have escaped, it was a grueling and despicable mind trick I know. I simply must challenge all decree’s be it whomsoever.
