So, it is Friday once again. That means my new article is up on the City Wire. If you would like to read it, click here: Tha (Donald) Bomb. If you wouldn’t like to read the article, click here: Wino Forever.

So, we had the Book Party yesterday. It was awesome and none of you showed up. It’s actually better that very few people showed up because of the space issues we have in there. If you get more than ten people trying to maneuver around in there, people start running into things and tripping on stuff and it gets messy in a hurry. Plus, that just means more cupcakes for us. And boy, did Ms. Lane ever take care of us in the cupcake department. They looked like little cheeseburgers.

Aren’t they the most precious things you’ve ever seen? And they were delicious. I actually absconded with the last two and brought them back to Holliday Island to dissect, reassemble, and then devour ravenously; all in the comfort of my own home. Also, Ms. Erica brought us a big-ass cookie cake lest we forget how we made all those books:

Overall, I think the party was a success. The best part is that it marks the official end of the semester for me. School is out for three weeks. Then, Physics I. I just have to figure out how I am going to pay for it, but that problem is going to be worked out very very soon.

You may be asking yourself, how is he going to pay for it, since he’s been griping about being broke? The answer is quite simple. For the next three weeks I am going to be working my ass off. No classes means that I can devote my full attention to my four jobs and possibly pick up a fifth one for good measure. Student loans?! Ha! Never.

If you haven’t noticed, I have added a few more photos to this year’s gallery. Be sure to check them out.

Speaking of checking things out, I have something for you. A sort of note to close today’s post on. I saw this on the front page of yesterday’s edition of our local newspaper. I’m sure it is just a printing registration issue and the subject matter of the article is sad, but I could not help but to stare at this and laugh.

Is that Sasquatch?

Oh, I almost forgot. Back Alley Trey is finally graduating from college tomorrow. Commencement is at 2pm. I am going to stay long enough to cheer for him when he walks and then I’m out of there. You should come with me. Call me.

And with that, I’m outta here. More soon. ~SC
