A Pre-Test Posthaste.

You know what we call a pre-test on Holliday Island? Homework. And that’s what the majority of my spare time is spent doing these days. Homework. Last night I spent about an hour calculating how much it costs to run appliances over the course of a year. A 3 watt alarm clock? $2.50. I also had the fact that energy is neither created or destroyed drilled into my head over the course of a three page long work sheet.

Overall, I’m enjoying Physics. And I knew that I would. Nahnah nahnah nahnah nah. I got my test back yesterday and as predicted I passed it but just barely. I made stupid concept errors that led to stupid Math errors. I knew that I had, so it came as no great surprise. Finding out that I missed 22 points worth was a bit of a surprise considering the test only counted for 80 points. Will I be reviewing all of chapters 4 and 5? I think so.

Other than that little nugget of info, the only other thing that has happened since yesterday’s post was G-Man being released from the hospital. Hooray! His doctor says that he is well enough to go home and finish his treatment from there. Finally, a bit of good news.

Well, tomorrow is a big day, but I won’t spoil the surprise. I’m off to calculate something. More soon. ~SC
