A Slow News Day.

Happy Caturday everybody! I would like to start off today’s post by wishing a very Happy Birthday to Little Miss Cotton. Be sure to wish her a happy one as well. And while you are sending her birthday wishes, be sure to send her and her fellow campers some good river doogies and a safe trip today.
While the royal family is away, I’m in charge of all of sorts of stuff. One of my duties is to open the mail and sort it into appropriate piles. It makes the job sound important, like I am searching for stuff that is life or death information, but in reality I am just snooping through their private stuff. And believe you me, snooping through the mail is much safer than snooping through, say, their bedroom. Ahem. Anyway, La Duchess got a letter yesterday from the University library. I seem to recall her sending me an email a while back about something having to do with the library, so I opened the letter. What I found was pure gold. Not literally. Seriously?! What library have you ever heard of that sends out envelopes of gold? Jeez. It was metaphoric gold. In the form of 3 identical photographs. Since there were 3 of them, I felt that one of them should live at my house for “safe keeping”. Once you see it, I’m sure you’ll agree. Here:
It was taken in May of 1995 for what I can only assume was the University yearbook. Granted this photo isn’t as good as the “Wenis and Fipple” photo, but it still excellent. Maybe I’ll borrow the aforementioned photo and show you what I’m talking about.
Last night, in celebration of my bachelor weekend (the phrase “I’m a loner Dottie, a rebel.” comes to mind) Sweetbread, Back Alley Trey, and I went to see X-Men: First Class. I have to say that it was pretty friggin’ good. They managed to cover almost all of their continuity issues and didn’t weight the story down with fifty eleven subplots. The pacing of the film was nearly perfect and the action scenes were delicious. Overall, it is good flick. It was fun. Not as fun as say, RED, but movie is really?
As for today, I am going finish this post and go take a much needed shower. After that I’ll probably work on Physics homework until lunchtime. Then maybe I’ll go play with Teacher Sis. Tonight I’m baking cookies and watching Deathly Hallows Part One. Please do not disturb.
That’s all I’ve got for you today. Have a wonderful Caturday. More soon. ~SC
