So, yesterday was also terrible. During the course of this show so far, we have covered about one sixth of our costs of being here. I am finding it quite difficult to keep my smiling face on right now. Especially since the last day of the show is the “slow day”. Oh goodie.

But after talking to Pancake Land last night I felt better. Perhaps my giant southwest burger made me feel better too, but I’m crediting P.L. Anyways, apparently she has been carrying a butcher knife around with her everywhere she goes in the house. You know, for protection. The mental image in my head is quite striking. I know for a fact that she has been living bachelor(ette) style while I’ve been away. Frozen pizzas at every turn, laying around in the same undies and mustard stained a-shirt as when I left. And now, walking around with a butcher knife for protection. Somehow this cheered me up. Despite all of the terrible shit that is happening around us, we can still make each other smile. It’s nice.

Oh, and then there’s all of that Slayer I listened to last night. Teaching Le Duke about making your hair windmill around made me feel better, too.

I added a couple of new photos yesterday, so be sure to check them out.

The show goes until 3pm today and then we are breaking down the booth and packing it in the van. We begin the arduous drive home tomorrow morning. Two more days of driving and I can sleep in my own bed, and poo in my own toilet, and snuggle with my sweet baby and our cats. I think I might need to plug my iPod in to get a little bit of a charge ere we leave for the show today. Something tells me that I’m going to need some Metal come 3 o’clock.

And with that, I’m off. More soon. ~SC

I like the peephole shot. Are you sure you followed all your won rules for the shot of the day? Please tell me you got a shot of Peter windmilling his wispys around and around.

    Agreed about Duc’s wispies
