Echoes From The Pit.

I woke up this morning with this terrible feeling of dread. And then there’s also this knot in the pit of my stomach. Maybe I just need to poop. Whatever it is, it is pretty overwhelming. Life is pretty overwhelming right now. My empire is crumbling and it is taking every gram of my self control not to call in the demolition squad and blow the the remainder of the empire to little bits. It would beat watching it crumble a brick at a time.

In addition to work craziness and Pancake Land moving back to Little Peddler’s, UPS claims that they delivered P.L.’s birthday present yesterday at 5:17pm. This may be true, but it only means that they didn’t deliver it to this house. They must have delivered it to someone else’s house. Or maybe they just lied and didn’t really deliver it at all. That way it makes the red tape for the driver look impressive. Whatever the case, I’ve got that to sort out now as well. Of course, now UPS claims that I need to resolve the issue with Amazon, and Amazon is telling me to wait a few days to find out if UPS is lying about already delivering it.

This is why Jesus invented iPods, and subsequently the Harry Potter audiobooks. To provide me with an escape. It beats stopping whatever I’m doing to listen as every large truck drives slowly by my house.

“Shh… that might be the UPS truck.”

In the height of my stressing out yesterday, I cleaned the bathroom. And I’m mean cleaned it. Like on my hands and knees with a sponge and a rag, cleaned it. Then I promptly took a shower because I felt so disgusting. I guess that once I get the house cleaned I’ll have to start building things. Pancake Land and I have been talking about building a screened-in hammock stand in the backyard for a while now. Maybe I’ll start working on the schematics for that. Or maybe I’ll start working on the schematics for my Death Ray.

Work now. Beans later. More soon. ~SC
