Oh dear God, I slept terribly last night. I just couldn’t get comfortable and every little noise in the house startled me awake again. In a house that has 2 birds, 2 cats, a kitten, and a 17 year-old boy in it, there are plenty of things that go crash in the night and offer to wake me up. Add to that mix a nightmare every time I actually fall asleep and it is no wonder that when 6:45am rolled around I decided that perhaps my time would be better spent in places other than bed. The worst part is that my guts are writhing around like a flamenco dancer due to the nightmares, so I can’t even drink coffee. Ugh. I kind of wish that I could remember the nightmares, but I can’t. At least I would have something to show for my troubles.

Yesterday was a pretty productive day. I slept in a little, had a nice breakfast, scrubbed my kitchen from stem to stern, and set about removing the flotsam and jetsam from my office. I emptied my office and reassembled it a little more effectively for my needs. If only I can keep it this way. Yeah, right. Other than that, I didn’t do much. I was pretty wiped out by the time Pancake Land and White Chocolate came by to gather up accessories for their impromptu “Blue and White” party. They had decided to have a relatively mild early celebration in honor of Pancake Land’s upcoming birthday.

That being said, my only plan for today is to buy groceries. Which hinges on whenever Pancake Land wakes up. She is going to come over and hang out for a while and I’m going to use the truck to be hunter/gatherer. In the mean time, though, I need to find something to do. Idle hands and whatnot. Maybe I’ll go get a head start on tomorrow’s glazathon. Or maybe I’ll just pee out of my butt. (nauseous groan)

More soon. ~SC
