The Big Finale.

Today is Friday. That means my new article is up on the City Wire. For real this time. If you’d like to read it, click here: What’s for lunch? If you wouldn’t like to read my article, click here: What’s for dinner?

I talked to Pancake Land last night and she has a new and improved interview for a different  job today. She came in a very close second place for the other job. I feel confident that this one has a first place ribbon waiting for her. Be sure to send her some really good vibes today.

Today is not just Friday, though. Today is Harry Potter Friday. Today is the day of the big cinematic finish. Reports, well one report, has already come in to me this morning. For there were HP nerds out there that were not stuck in a motel room in Knoxville, Tennessee and who went to the midnight opening last night/this morning. Jealous. On second thought, I probably would have talked myself out of going had I been in town. After the fiasco with Two Towers and the kid yelling about the “dragon”, it is probably best that I don’t go to midnight openings of movies any more. And kid, wherever you are, it’s a Fell Beast, not a fucking dragon.

I did wake up sorting singing in my head this morning. I was singing “Harry Potter Dreaming” to the tune of “California Dreaming” by the Mamas and the Papas. I’m sure there was an actual HP dream involved last night, but I can’t remember it. I’m sure once I get home and have settled back in, I’ll go see the movie this weekend. Maybe I can talk P.L. into a date night and we will make out the entire time. Yes!

Well, the time has come for me to leave the Red Roof Inn again and go home. Ten more hours of driving and I’ll be back in my sweet lady’s loving embrace. Wish us luck today. It is gray and rainy right now. Ugh. Oh, forgeticus. More soon. ~SC

Trust me…you won’t be making out during the movie. You will be like me and yell “Go get’em Neville!” 😀
