Or do much of anything else. The good news is that there are thunderstorms forecast for the next few days. According to the meteorologists, the high temperatures are supposed to be 37°C (98°F) and under for the next week. How awesome is that? It’s like a friggin’ blizzard these days.

The heat combined with a general sense of helplessness landed me in front of Hulu for the better part of yesterday. Sure, I went to the studio and trimmed fish in the morning. Sure, I had lunch with Word to Me. Sure, I went to visit with the Furious Micks, Angie the Queen of Kings, and Back Alley Trey and watched bad 80’s movies. But for the most part I was watching Bones. Most of the watching of my stories happened in my office because Pancake Land was napping and then working on the couch and I did not want to disturb her with my man giggling and excited rahtard clapping ala Clash of the Titans (the original).

I came to a very important conclusion because of all of this. Yes my vintage bank teller’s chair looks awesome, but God is it ever uncomfortable. Especially when one tries to sit in it for more than an hour at a time. Herman Miller here I come. 

I went looking for some funny video, but nothing struck me as hilarious at the moment. So, suck it. I’ve got to go get another few minutes of snuggling in before Teacher Sis comes to get me. We’re going to be a Der Schtaples when they open because they are having crazy good back-to-school sales this week. 50 cent Sharpies and whatnot. Anyways, enough blather more snuggle. More soon. ~SC
