It is Monday. Plain and simple. This weekend has been an emotional rollercoaster. It only seems appropriate that I should wind up being excited about going to work today. Not for any work related reason. Or even to escape my own thoughts. Truth be told, there’s a new SModcast today which will more than likely conclude the Harry Scotter/Forgeticus saga. Also, I’ve had the strange sensation of getting a chill. The past few weeks have been blazingly hot and the temperature is beginning to drop. Seeing as how I have every fan in the house blowing air around as hard and as fast as possible, the cooler temperatures make for a cold breeze around the house. This is exciting. I know how to deal with this. It is called clothes. I can add them and subtract them from my body to adjust my comfort level. It’s great. Whereas when it is hot, I can do nothing but lie around in my undies and sweat profusely and pray that my biological A/C doesn’t go out.

In other news… I’ve got nothin’.

Um, okay. I got approval from Teacher Sis on the new tile in the kitchen yesterday. So last night I untaped them from the wall and glued them into place. Once I can afford to get the other 8 boxes of tile, get them cut and glued into place, then I’ll seal the whole job with silicon to prevent… something from happening. I’m not really sure why you seal stuff like this, but you’re supposed to. Maybe it has something to do with airborne organic particles getting behind the tile and forming a delicatessen for microbes.

I just glanced up at my mineral chart and saw the mineral “Elbait” and can’t help but trying to come up with some joke about a geologist dating a high school girl.

On that note, I should probably go to work. After working in the studio, I’ve got a Math lesson, and then I’ve got to try and find the words to describe this week’s restaurant. Have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
