Cathartic Repetitive Motion.

Good morning all. It is Monday once again. I would like to begin today’s post by wishing a great big happy birthday to the very wonderful Pancake Land. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEEP BEEP! (That’s as big as I could make it given my typing parameters. Sorry.) Be sure to wish her a happy one as well. Many good doogies to her on this Monday.

Yesterday, I managed to exercise my grumbly belly demons with some good old fashioned proletarianism. That’s right, I worked it off. I went over to Lippincottonia for about 4 hours of hot and sweaty glazing action. I figured that since my Nanny got sick, and my normal eat-on-assignment dates went to be with her, thus leaving me no restaurant to review as of yet, I should try to get ahead on one job in order to be able to take off to work on another one. Plus it kept my brain and hands busy. And it beat watching mind-numbing television. There’s just something about putting on your headphones and doing the same motions over and over again that is incredibly good for the mind. Hence the title of today’s post. I know that a handful of you readers just thought about masturbation. Dirty minds think alike. But that is not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about glazing pots. Or feeding single sheets of paper into a shredder. Or kneading bread dough. Or walking behind a push mower. Catharsis.

Whoa. I just got really heavy, and deep, and far out, and right on. Moving on. After my stint at work, I came home cleaned up, and Black Jack Josh came by to pick up a book that I had repaired for him. (Just one of the handy things that I learned in my attempts at bookmaking.) So, of course, I had to trap him in ice.

Black Jack Josh.

I just decided to flip through my copy of No One Cares What You Had For Lunch for a little inspiration and I got some really nice affirmation about writing posts first thing in the morning. Everybody could use a little affirmation that getting out of bed is worthwhile.

Anywho, I’ve got to get to work. I’ll leave you with a new episode of SModimations. Enjoy:

Have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
