After my most recent disappointment with trying to watch True Legend and not having any sound, I decided to take Taco Planet’s advice and try and patch the problem using an audio codec. Last night, I found the needed codecs and got everything installed, set up the lappy so I could watch my movie on the actual television, and began my viewing experience. It was glorious. Everything was working and the video and sound quality were perfect. But something wasn’t right. I couldn’t figure it out. Then the light bulb came on in my head. This is a kung fu movie. They speak Chinese. I do not speak Chinese. I have no idea what they are saying. Simple solution: turn subtitles on. No subtitles. Thwarted again. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I guess I’ll just wait for the VHS to come out. It seems as though I’m not meant to watch it right now.

Today is going to be another day of making glazes I think. Yesterday was spent packing up an order, emptying bisque kilns, and being a hunter/gatherer. Tonight, on the other hand, I’m dusting off the old Ghetto Burrito recipe and seeing if I’ve still got it in me to make bachelor food. This is how the peppers feel about this:
