Ugh. Monday. Is it just me or do the cats know that Mondays suck and they try to ensure that they do so? Is it some Caturday/Monday alliance that I am unaware of? It just seems that the cats did a whole lot more messing with me last night than they normally do. I mean sure an occasional mid-night snuggle is called for, but why did all three decide at different and multiple times that they needed to try to attack the venetian blinds? Or maybe just stand around meowing? Why, oh God, why can’t you just let me sleep? Soon, my little furry friends, you’ll be locked out of the bedroom whilst I slumber. The nights are almost cool enough for me to shut the bedroom off without running the risk of drowning in my own sweat. Soon.

So, anyways, yesterday was a very productive day for me. I wrote an excellent post, if I do say so, and moved on to write one of my two needed articles. I rustled up my camping gear and made notes of the stuff I needed to get/find. I began to assemble the rest of the stuff I need to take to keep me from losing my mind during my stay in what is quickly sounding more and more like Jerrytown. Heavy reading? Check. Metal t-shirts? Check. There is still a lot more to pack, but I’ve today and tomorrow to do so. No worries.

After my fit of productivity, I let the tutoring commence. First, I had a round of beginning Algebra to limber up before my bout of Physics with 3 giggling high school girls. And no, it wasn’t in the least bit like anything in you’ve seen in porn. For one thing, one of them is my niece. For another, I was trying to teach them Physics not “punish them for cheating on a test”. Moving on. But alas, I did have a new face in the house, so I trapped it in ice:

Not Barkbark.

So, after that mind numbing round of Science, I decided to punish my brain a little more and went to WalMart* to pick a few more supplies, both for the few days I’m here and for the time I’ll be away. After that, I did a little house work and went to bed early. A lot of good it did me.

That brings us to now. I’m getting ready to go to work, so I’ll send you off to your day with a little song by Miss ViHart:

Well, you guys have a wonderful day. More soon. ~SC
