Thunderstorm Road Trip.

Good morning all. Yesterday was a pretty eventful day. I got loads accomplished and was pretty tuckered out by the end of the day. I couldn’t let that stop me, though. There was still about 15 pages worth of notes to type up about the Winfield trip. And Teacher Sis wanted tacos. After gorging on random Tex-Mex, T.S. and I went to the library to scope out audiobooks. Then I came home to finish typing up the saga. You can read part one here and part two here. Enjoy.
Today is a day for being a giant sucker. I somehow agreed to drive 4.5 hours to Jonesboro to deliver a traveling art exhibit. What the shit was I thinking? I had of course agreed to this before I drove all the way to Kansas and back. Before I was reminded that driving the van for long distances was brutal. I can be a little slow sometimes. Anyways, to help my sanity out, I’ve recruited Little Miss Cotton to suffer along side me. For money of course. In a little while we have to head down to Second Street Live to actually pack the show up, then we hit the road for the 9+ hour long slog there and back. It’s like “The Hobbit” without a dragon. Oh and it is supposed to rain the entire time. Jeezus I’m dumb. I just keep getting myself into these situations. Will I never learn? Probably not. At least it is something to write about other than what I ate for breakfast.
Okay, well that’s all I’ve got for you this morning. I have to go brew a lot of coffee and gather snacks. There will be snacks. Oh yes. There will be snacks. More soon. ~SC
