Tortoise and Hare.

The innernet is crawling along this morning. And it is irritating. Not as irritating as say NetFlix booting you off an episode of whatever right when your interest is good and piqued. I’m having technological issues this week.

Speaking of ridiculous machines that currently serve their human masters, but are patiently waiting for their chance at world domination, I got a lot of coffee yesterday. What had happened was…

My Aunt helps run the food closet for Jesus. When she acquired groceries for it last time, she got “four boxes” of coffee. My cousin JoJo had taken it all, but said if I wanted some, I could have it. The coffee was in individual pod/cup form and I was under the impression they were for a Keurig. Since we have a Keurig in Lippincottonia, I said I’d take some of the coffee off his hands. It is always handy to have extra coffee around. So my loving auntie said she’d bring me two boxes of coffee. In my head that translated to two packages of coffee. My head calculated poorly. She brought me two banana boxes full. And they were not for the Keurig at all. They are for the NesCafe Dulce Gusto machine. I don’t have this machine. So, I looked at it and I thought about it and I realized that I had just scored around $400 worth of coffee for a coffee machine that I don’t own. Yet. Don’t you worry, ol’ Santo has set his plans in motion. Soon. Oh, yes. Soon.

If you haven’t seen this little coffee maker, you’ll be blown away by how much it doesn’t look like a coffee maker. It looks more like a little robot. Or a ladybug. Here, peep it:

Isn’t it handsome? I’ll let you know when it gets here from Mars. Once it shows up, if maybe you wanted to come by and have a Latte Macchiato or a Caffe Lungo, I’m sure that could be arranged.

Yesterday was another three job hat trick day. I worked at the studio, came home and tutored, and then worked on my article. Somewhere in between all of that fun, I found the time to make crawfish chowder, which of course, was delicious.

Today is another crazy day. Le Duke and I are starting the counter top project in the new house. I also have a meeting with a lady in the records office at school to discuss my degree plan. Possibly work in the Letterpress shop. And I seem to recall something about a fountain. Anyways, I’m off to be busy. Wish me luck. More soon. ~SC
