Imagining A Roaring Lion Hat.

Good morning a-holes! It’s Monday again. That means there stuff to do, so get off your duff and get to work. But before you do that, let me share a few interesting things with you first.
On November 5th, the day of Data K’s and Nicky the Cook’s wedding, I will be occupied, at least for the first half of the day, by an event that I had only heard rumors about in Fayetteville. Now it is coming here. UAFS is sponsoring the inaugural Lion’s Quidditch Cup as a fund raiser for the United Way. Brilliant. What better way to raise money than to host an event where nerds pretend to fly around on brooms and throw dodge balls at each other. Especially since the game doesn’t end until one of two “flying” nerds catches a cross country runner wearing gold. I’m so there. Who’s with me?
This weekend, during the camping trip, Nicky the Cook introduced me to an album that has captured my imagination for the moment. It is by this band called the Bird and the Bee. They’re sort of a new disco/poppy band. They’re pretty good in general, but their latest album is amazing on multiple levels. The album is called “Interpreting the Masters: Vol. 1” and it is comprised solely of Hall & Oates covers. It is simply awesome. I’ll let you have a taste:
See?! So good. Man, you’re not ready for “Maneater”.
In other news, I have another long day ahead of me. I’ve got work at the studio this morning and tutoring tonight. Lots and lots of tutoring. The good news is that my new fancy coffee pot should be here tonight. Mwhahaha…
Anywho, I’ve gotta go get ready for work. Have a great day. More soon. ~SC

Oh man. That’s some serious “doin’ it” music.
Yeah its alright. Yawn.
Also, I’m kind of curious to see a bunch of nerds running around in Potter gear.
