If You Touch My Fire, I’ll Stab You.

Yesterday was another long day. I spent the majority of my day in a scatterbrained fog. The fog hasn’t really lifted. And given the forecasted rain for today, I don’t foresee it going anywhere anytime soon.

Most of my working hours were spent glazing. Granted, I did make a couple of the Batman forsaken Grismas tree plates, but mostly I glazed pots. I have lots more to glaze today as well. At some point this morning, I have to go get Little Miss Cotton so she can make clay for us. I also need to remember to vote.

After work yesterday, I came home set my stuff down for ten minutes, fed the dogs, pick my stuff back up, and got into Teacher Sis’s car. We then spent the rest of the night, until roughly midnight, cleaning Prince Jazzbo’s house and washing all of his laundry. We thought it would be a nice thing for him to come home to a clean house. In hindsight it was like saying it would be nice to surprise someone with a fresh baked croissant for breakfast, so I’ll crawl through the French trenches during WWII to get them one. I think a kinder act for him would have been to raze the fucker to the ground. Purification fire? Purification fire.

Now that we have unleashed Pandora’s box, we are stuck dealing with it. This just means that we will be spending another few nights continuing to clean his house. I’m sure I’m being irritatingly vague, so I’ll give you an example.

Teacher Sis washed most of the dishes and I threw away the rest. There were not any clean ones. We calculated that it was more cost effective for us to just but him new ones rather than have to deal with the biological creations that were clinging to the insides of some of them. Why is this a big deal? Because after setting off pesticide foggers, we will have to go back and wash them all again. Kill the insects in order to get to the sink to wash the dishes again. Yeah. That sums it up. That and finding out things about your own brother’s sexuality that you never wanted to know. Needless to say, I came home and immediately threw all of my clothes in the washer and then took a very long, very hot shower. I had the itches something fierce.

Oh, look at the time. Gotta run. More soon. ~SC
