Maxin’ And Relaxin’.

Yesterday was a good day. I swept off my patio. I cleaned out my gutters. I swept off the mini deck. I hung up my hammock. Then I lounged in my hammock for hours reading. It was awesome. I finally managed to finish rereading “Still Life With Woodpecker” which I started again months ago. I actually have no idea how long I was in my hammock. This is very strange and awesome to me. To be able to sit for an extended period of time and not feel like I shirked any responsibility.

After finishing the book, I came in and prepared to make a very quick run to the store. My trip was going to be quick because my deposits had not appeared in my bank account just yet, so no extensive grocery shopping for me. Mainly I got dog food and deodorant. Important things.

I can hear the recycle truck out front. Is it really that late? It is. I’ll be brief, then. After my quick shopping trip, I came home and whipped up my article. Then I lazed around watching Star Trek until bedtime. I’m starting to take full advantage of this day of rest business.

Today I will be grinding pots from last week’s firing. I’ll probably be making more x-mas tree platters. Possibly shipping small orders out. Tonight, I have tutoring.

In other news, Pancake Land caught a Kentucky bass yesterday! It is possibly her first bass ever. Thanks to everyone who sent her good doojies for her fishing trip. I think she finally learned firsthand the true meaning of the zen of repetitive motion that I’ve been going on about for years.

Well, that is all I’ve got for you this morning. I’ve got to go check and see if the new SModcast is up yet. More soon. ~SC
