A Day Off.

I was wiped out yesterday. All day I walked around staring off into space. I somehow managed to make it through the day without breaking too many things. Batman knows I tried, though. I seemed to drop just about everything I picked up. I did manage to accomplish quite a bit given my inability to think clearly and hold on to objects. I got an order of mugs shipped out. I got one of the theater blocks sprayed with slip. I got Le Duke’s guitar boxed up and shipped to Canada. I dropped off some fish plates and incense to Steph the Sage. I accomplish things!

By 4:30pm I was spent so I headed home. I had just managed to collect the mail and packages that had arrived, set my bag down, and feed the dogs before the phone started buzzing in my pocket. It was Prince Jazzbo. Interesting. He would normally be asleep at this time of day. He informed me that he was on his way over to pick up a bunch of stuff that I’ve had for him since Black Friday. About damned time. Luckily for him, Teacher Sis’s Grismas presnents (mine and his) had just arrived in the mail, so he was able to pick his gift for her up as well. I had ordered them together to cut down on shipping costs.

So, let’s see. Word to Me’s is here. Prince Jazzbo’s is here. Teacher Sis’s is here. Pancake Land’s is almost completed. Big D’s is in the works. And Dave sent me the label for everybody else’s. Grismas shopping is almost complete. It’s a good thing, too. I don’t if you are aware of this or not, but Grismas is in two weeks. Yeah. I know. It freaks me out, too.

So anyway, Prince Jazzbo came by to get his stuff. And he had a friend with him. So, I trapped her in ice:

Morning Star.

After the package exchange and the face scanning, I  kicked them out and resumed my lying around trying to regain a little of my strength. Worf had a kid.

Today I’ve decided to take the day off. I’m a week ahead on food assignments, so I get to eat for fun today. I might lie around and watch television. I might go run around with my fam. I might read a book or the new issue of Lucky Peach. Who knows? I’m going to just wing it, because that’s how Extreme Wingers roll.

Do something fun today. More soon. ~SC
