I’d like to start out this morning by wishing a very Happy Birthday to the Heat. Be sure to wish her one as well.

Yesterday was a crazy day. My morning meeting got postponed until the afternoon. Captain Picard got assimilated by the Borg. And the entire time I was at the letterpress shop, I never once touched my full thermos of coffee. It was a weird day. It is always strikes me as weird when a day turns out differently than you had expected. I had expected to drink coffee all day. I drank none other than my first cup yesterday morning.

So, I went to the print shop and we got the place cleaned up for the open house on Thursday. I would like to make a correction. I have stated over the past few days that the open house is from 10am to 5pm. This is simply untrue. The open house is from 1pm to 5pm on Thursday. I will be getting there around 10am. Sorry for the confusion. Feel free to come by and eat, drink, and be merry with us. I’ll be making paper printer’s hats and possibly printing something to give away. I printed some signs yesterday, so there’s no telling what I’m printing tomorrow.

Today is, according to my email, a day of ship(ment)s coming in. I should be getting my paycheck, finally. I think the mics are supposed to get here today, so I can start working on syncing them up to one another in preparation for our next Date Night. Also, I think Word to Me’s Grismas presnent is supposed to arrive today. I love getting stuff in the mail.

Okay, I really do need to go to work now. This morning I have studio duties. This afternoon I’ve got tutoring. Tonight I’ve got to proof my article and send it to Mike Tango. It’s a hat trick kind of day. Have a good one yourself. More soon. ~SC
