Hello, there. Well, I survived Monday once again. It actually turned out pretty good, but I had to go through frustration Hell to get to that point. It wasn’t so much that bad things happened yesterday, so much as it just seemed like I dropped everything that I touched. I was just very frustrated. For the most part, I assembled orders and then packed them up and shipped them out. That’s it. Well, at Lippincottonia anyway. There was a very interesting game of musical cars first thing in the morning, but the rest of the rest was shipping.

Then I came home to tutor. What did I find waiting for me when I got home?

Ta-da! I finally got my Issue #2 of Lucky Peach. All frustration was washed away. Now, if only I could finish reading Issue #1…

I have to admit, I was reading the Bourdain on Road House piece called “Pain Don’t Hurt” the other day when I got hoodwinked into going to Hastings, so as soon as I discovered this bad boy in the mailbox, I resumed where I left off. This article is worth the $28 I paid for my subscription. Worth every penny. Plus, this issue came with stickers for you to “decorate” fruits and veggies with. How fun is that?

Today is going to be a weird one I’m afraid. I was supposed to have meeting first thing this morning, but it got bumped to later today. So, I’m going to wash laundry until I have to head over to the letterpress shop to start preparations for the holiday open house that happens on Thursday from 10am-5pm. Now, I guess I’ll be prepping the space and then going to my meeting. Who knows what will happen between now and then?
