Obsessed Much? Not Too Much. Much Too Much.

My first thought this morning was about how to get over to Le Target to buy more Garbage Pail Kids cards. Jeez. It freaks me out a little. But I did make some head way in my collection yesterday.
I can’t say that yesterday was the conclusion of last week’s Treat Yo’ Self day, seeing as how Prince Jazzbo kind of rained on that parade, because the whole Treat Yo’ Self idea has become sort of a daily mantra. For the time being anyway. ‘Til the money runs out. But, it was definitely a day of treating ourselves.
The adventure began at Le Target where I picked up more GPK cards and some dark chocolate and mint chips on clearance. Then lunch on assignment. Then to Sam’s club for a little grocery shopping. I treated myself to a giant block of Havarti. Then to Der Staples to hunt for a “business card” organizer to help me keep my instant photos organized. Then to the Walmart* to finish off the grocery shopping for the week. Then home to sort through the many bags of stuff.
I had this idea the other day about what to do with all of this cream cheese and faux crabmeat that I had in my fridge. Wontons anyone? I ended making about 48 of the little critters. Next time I’ll add more to them , but this round was just crab meat and cream cheese. Chives or shallots maybe? Maybe a little black pepper? Hmm…
Once my belly was filled with fried cheesy pastry, I set out to organize the new GPK cards that I had picked up earlier. I ended up getting 2 new Adam cards, which brings me up to 3 of 10. But the real treasure that I got was 1 of 5 3D hologram cards. They are super rare. The one I got is a giant GPK cyclops making swiping hand motions at two people on the ground. Brilliant.
I was disappointed to discover that the postal service had tried to deliver some of my new camera lens, but since I wasn’t home they did not leave them. Dammit. Maybe I’ll leave them a note telling them to just leave it in the mailbox.
After organizing my collection, I headed over, wonton leftovers in tow, to the Furious/Mick household for questionable movie night. Back Alley Trey, Dave, Little Miss Cotton, and Zaxxon were all there too. I’d have to say that the highlight of my night was watching Dave playing with Rosco the Furious Mick’s remote control original Batmobile. He just kept crashing it into the Lego villages around the room. The flying shark was a lot of fun as well. If only the batteries had held out.
Today is a normal Sunday. I’ve got to write an article. I’ve got to fold laundry. I’ve got to do homework. I’ve got to figure out how to get to Le Target to buy more GPK cards. I think White Chocolate might be coming by later to hang out. Maybe I’ll bake some cookies for her. Should I make dark chocolate/mint/cashew or should I make white chip/macadamia? I’ll let her decide.
Anyways, I’m off to get started on my list. Enjoy the rest of this rather cloudy weekend. More soon. ~SC

Sigh. I ate the bag of wontons. It hurt.
I ate three of them and I can now no longer sense my anus.
I hope you put that in your app Jess.
