I’m totally stealing content from Dave’s website, but since it was a post dedicated to me, I don’t feel too bad. Plus, it’s relevant to our discussion today. So, here:

After a very long week, month, year I’ve decided to treat myself. You may recall my cryptic posts about an upcoming project that involves spending 300 bucks. Well, that project is something I’m going to call “Instant Photos”. I’ve been wanting the Fujifilm Instax camera ever since I laid my eyes on it in the Office Depot. So, I did a little bit of research. I found out that there is a regular/wide format camera and a “mini” camera. I originally was turned off to the idea of the mini, but minds have a way of changing. As I was doing my research, I started finding add-ons for the mini camera. Real deal camera add-ons. Suddenly, this little camera that takes little instant photos became a very real camera with lenses and filters. So, I set out to wish list the mini and all of the toys that attach to it. Save them for a rainy day sort of thing. Or more appropriately, a day when I wanted to treat myself to a presnent.

Well, yesterday was that day. Last night I rewarded myself by ordering the camera, the 16 filter kit, wide angle lens, telephoto lens, fish eye lens, close up and macro lenses, a self shot lens with mirror (for good measure), and 10 double packs of film. The project has officially begun. Well, sort off. Phase one has been initiated. I don’t have any of the stuff yet, but you’ll know it as soon as it shows up. I’m very excited, can’t you tell?

In other news, we’ve got the kitchen in Lippincottonia almost put back together again. We finished the drywalling yesterday and started hanging cabinets. A few more little touches and we’ll be back in business.

Today I don’t have much going on. I’m supposed to have lunch on assignment and help Teacher Sis with a little project, but other than that I’ll probably be reading food microbiology homework stuff. Maybe some Skyward Sword if I am a good boy and finish my homework. Well, I’d better get dressed if I’m about to go into public. Not that I have a problem going into public in my robe, but it embarrasses Teacher Sis, so I’ll behave just this once. Enjoy your Caturday. More soon. ~SC
