Yesterday was a day of getting shit done. Food microbiology exam with 5 extra bonus points?
WHAM!
Geography map coloring assignment?
BIFF!
Article proofing?
SMACK!
25 more mugs?
BLAMMO!
Eating leftover crawfish chowder and chocolate cake?
(nom nom nom)
I got so much accomplished that I rewarded myself with breaking in my new hammock pillow and carabiners while my fake ocean lulled me into complacency.
On a more intriguing note, I might be arranging for my birthday to be spent in Japan. Oh, sorry. JAPAN! The Rev. Dark Wombat informed me today that his last day of work is the 22nd of March and he isn’t coming home until May 1st. Plenty of time for me to go and eat ramen. Not that five years wasn’t plenty of time to do that, but whatever. I work better with a deadline.
Before you go getting all excited for me, I still have to do my taxes and find out if I’ll have the money. The cheapest I’ve found a flight for is about 1200 bucks. I’m working on it, though. How sweet would that be? To spend my birthday knocking one more item off the old bucket list? I’ve got three words for you:
SHI!
BU!
YA!
A more appropriate title for today’s post might have been “Randomly Shouted Sentence Fragments.”
Today is yet another busy day. I’ve mug making duties at the studio. Then an English class is coming to tour the letterpress shop, so I’ll be doing that. Then back to mugs. And if I’m lucky, I get the night off. No homework, no tests, no articles, just me and my hammock. Sounds dreamy.
Anywho, work is calling. More soon. ~SC
