I was just thinking about how I wished the end of the school year was here already. Not because I’m tired of school, but because I am ready to dig through the “lost and found” for treasures. What can I say? I love digging through piles of other people’s belongings. The weirdest part of that whole experience is that I normally just walk away with a lot of school supplies. Pens, pencils, notebook paper, etc. I mean, sure, you’ll find the occasional fleece jacket or cool backpack and every great once in a while you’ll find a calculator or a cell phone, but mainly just school supplies. Perhaps it is my inner cheap skate, or perhaps it is the fact that I know that school supply manufacturers can sell paper for the sale price of a quarter rather than the everyday price of a dollar-fifty and still make a profit, but something about scoring free paper makes me happy. I was just thinking about that.

What did you do yesterday? Me? Oh, the usual stuff. A lot of illicit drugs, slept with a couple of prostitutes, killed them, chopped ’em up and fed them to the hogs, beat Pac-Man, flew into outer space on a dragon, and caught a bit of a nap on the way back home from Uranus. And your Mom’s anus.

I’m in a weird mood this morning. I might have the crazy eyes.

In all actuality, it was a pretty normal and productive Saturday. I had lunch on assignment and bought a couple of books at Book Ends. Just what I needed, more books. I got a kitchen timer so that I can make cookies. (Maybe today.) I got a beard trimmer on clearance because my beard is very angry this week. I got the week’s groceries of milk, cheese, tortillas, and Sun Chips.

Then I came home and stared at my computer for the rest of the night. I watched True Legend which is brilliant if you haven’t seen it. I took my geography test and got an “A”. Whoo! I then redrew my plans for the secret project and emailed back and forth with Jackie the Mick for a few hours about cars (part of the secret plan).

I stared at the computer so long that my eyes are bloodshot even this morning. So, what’s on the agenda for today? House work mainly. I’ve got to write an article for this week. And do a lot of nothin’. I’m trying to rest today. Since last week has super crazy and this coming week is looking like the sequel to last week, I’ma need my strength.
