Yesterday was yet again another productive day. This time around my meetings did not get cancelled. First thing yesterday morning, I went to the studio and started working on another one of my theater blocks. Then, my phone rang. It was one of my bosses wanting to know if I could meet them in half an hour to meet with some guys about a project. Sure thing. Luckily, Jackie the Mick was free to drive me around. It was good for him to be there too, seeing as how the project involves him as well.

Good news. We got more green lights on the project. I’m supposed to meet with some more people today or tomorrow about it and keep this ball rolling. Then, it was back to the studio for more theater block work. A few hours of that and then it was off to another meeting. This time around we discussed the stuff from the first meeting and future projects. Success at this meeting, too.

Then home to await my student who wound up going to a lecture from a Holocaust survivor instead of working on Math with me. Wait, that sounded bad. He enjoys our lessons, really he does. I swear. It was a life experience choice. He opted for the rarer of the two options.

Anyways, that left my evening free to have dinner on assignment with Teacher Sis. Overwhelmed? Nah, underwhelmed.

Then, D-Man called to see if I was busy this weekend. Apparently, he has a spare ticket to see Radiohead in St. Louis. If I don’t go to visit my dying grandmother in Houston, I’m totally going to St. Louis. I said I’d go if I could stop and put flowers on Irma Rombauer’s grave while we’re there. Possibly check that off the bucket list, too.

What’s happening today? Batman only knows. I’ve got letterpress shop stuff this morning. Today is officially my last day as an assistant in the shop. With all of these other projects going on, I’m having to cut back on jobs. As of today, I’m back down to four. I’m such a slacker. After work this morning, K and Star Noble are taking me out to lunch for my “retirement” party. Aren’t they sweet. After lunch it’s back to the studio and possibly a meeting later in the afternoon. Maybe a Date Night with a Zaxxon in the evening.

Oh, and Coach Dolphin sent this to me. She said she saw it and it reminded her of me. How Sweet. Anyways, enjoy:

Right, well my fans await. Can’t keep them waiting too long or they’ll realize I’ve given them a wooden nickel. More soon. ~SC
