You And Your Grubby Little Nubs.

Yesterday. Wow. Maybe the most frustrating day ever. I think the gloomy weather, the lack of sleep, and the illogical mental pathways of others conspired to make my day Hell. At first anyway. It took me a little while to find my groove. And by little while I mean 7 hours.

My work day started out with me trying to coordinate moving furniture into the new house using Zaxxon, Black Jack Josh, and the new guy. Keep in mind that I was sleep deprived, it was trying to rain, and there were crews of people working all over the house on painting, plumbing, cleaning, etc. And Zaxxon had to go to work, so add a time constraint of half an hour onto the whole thing. Good times. Needless to say, once I was given the list of what needed to be moved, I was barking orders like Major Benson Winifred Payne and they weren’t going to take me alive.

Actually, my mantra all day was: “I might kill them. With my hands.” And by them I mean whoever had just given me new instructions or informed me of complications. The only person who never fell under the threat of death was Black Jack Josh because he made me some coffee at one point.

In addition to the moving of ridiculous furniture, I got to lay more tile. This time in the form of backsplash. Then it was odd jobs for the remainder of the day.

After work, it was time for more work. But not before I got a presnent in the mail. Peep what I got myself:

Granted, I got a lot of duplicates, but I still managed to get one of my missing Adam Mania cards and I got one of my missing 3D cards. I also scored a bunch of rare versions of the ordinary cards, even a gold one (super rare).

After sorting through hundreds of GPK cards, I headed off to dinner on assignment with Teacher Sis. Then we went by her classroom and I played with her Promethean board. So badass. I also snuck into Coach Dolphin’s room and left her a little surprise in her chair. Heh heh heh…

Today is more of the same as yesterday. This time around I’m grouting the tile I laid yesterday and finishing up a few random things that I also started during the 7 hours of chaos. Like putting feet on a dinner table.

Hopefully I won’t get blown away by a tornado. More soon. ~SC
